New Training Schedule And Training Opportunities

Happy New Year! We are excited for 2024, which will bring many great training opportunities.

The first update will be our training schedule for our Tigers Youth Martial Arts Program. We’ve hosted a Black Belt Club for the Tigers after they are nominated and committed to training and testing for their Black Belt. This program, aligned with our Elite Training Program, offers Private Lessons every week. Due to the demand and the rate at which our Tigers keep shining, we are running shorter on convenient time slots available for this upgrade in their training. To meet this demand, we have created a Black Belt Club Class that will gather every Monday and Wednesday at 530pm, directly after the standard 5pm Tigers Class. Our aim and goal with this class is to direct more attention to the curriculum and application of the Tigers focused on earning their Black Belts.

How can your child(ren) attend?

All Tigers nominated to the Black Belt Club who have signed their Black Belt Commitment are welcome to attend.

Is there an additional fee to attend the new Black Belt Club Class?

We are including our new Black Belt Club Class for free to all Tigers that have been nominated and have upgraded with the original Black Belt Club Program and private lessons. This opportunity will give them an additional two classes per week that they can attend to hone and focus on their needs.

Honorary Black Belt Club Tigers and Nominated Black Belt Club Tigers are welcome to try the Black Belt Club Class for free during January. Starting February 1st, the Class will be an additional $50 upgrade per Tiger to keep attending.

Can my child(ren) still use the original Black Belt Club Program and private lessons?

Absolutely! As long as we have available times on the schedule, we will always recommend private lessons as a great way to build toward their goals on and off the mat.

Does my child(ren) have to upgrade to either Black Belt Club Program?

In the years that have passed, we would have said it isn’t necessary; however, after watching the last four to five generations go through their Black Belt Test, we’ve noticed a significant difference in candidates that had the additional training opportunity as they approached Black Belt, versus those that didn’t. Taking this into consideration, we’ll be looking to have every Tiger commit and upgrade to one of our two Black Belt Club training opportunities by the time they achieve their Blue Belt, allowing plenty of time for us to help them develop stronger through their Purple and Red Belts as they approach the Black Belt Test.

How will this impact the rest of the school’s training schedule?

We will adjust our Kickboxing MMA Program on Monday and Wednesday to start at 6pm beginning Wednesday, January 3rd. This new school schedule will be more convenient and help those struggling with traffic to make their full Kickboxing MMA Class during these two days.

What else can we look forward to this year?

First, we are Back to Basics in our Kickboxing MMA Program this week and next, which gives anyone a great opportunity to get started or back on track with their training goals. Suppose you are new and want to come to experience our classes. In that case, our recommendation is to take advantage of the Introductory Program, which gives a new student two free private lessons and four weeks of training to experience our classes. If they are an adult, they receive a free pair of gloves, whereas children receive a free white belt. It is a great way for anyone to see if our instructors, lesson plans, training partners, and progressions are the perfect fit and home for them. Best of all, the Introductory Program is only $29 per person. If you are ready to start your Introductory Program, click HERE to register and we could schedule your first private lesson as early as tomorrow or possibly Thursday.

We’ve received a ton of recommendations from our students’ surveys. We plan to include updated topics in our Tigers Youth, Kickboxing MMA, and Advanced MMA Programs. The additional ideas you shared have helped us develop the new 2024 Workshop Program. This series will launch with our new t-shirt design. Stay tuned for both of these later this week.

We’ve kicked it into high gear as we are almost ready to launch our first free Shadow Boxing Challenge, the new improved One More Mindset online training program, and so much more. More details on these later this week as well. In the meantime, check out our online training platform at www.CoreConceptCoaching.com.

Also on the calendar, we have our annual MARS Southwest Camp the first weekend in March with Ron Balicki, Nicolas Saignac, Cliff Lenderman, Alvis Solis, and Larry St Clair.  We’ll share more details about that shortly, or you can also visit www.MARSsouthwestCAMP.com

The STORM Team is also working on the calendar to find a date for our Martial Way Formal Awards Banquet. Get ready for a fun event organized to celebrate each other’s hard work from the previous year.

Last, but not least, all students will be offered their annual goal sheet and performance planning over this month. We hope to get with every parent and student in all programs to make strong blueprints toward your goal achievements this year.

Stay tuned because we have only just begun to attack 2024 with everything we have planned.
