Summer of Fun
As the summer sun begins to shine, we are thrilled to announce the return of our celebrated "Summer Of Fun." This summer will be about more than just martial arts training—it will be a season of unforgettable events, opportunities for personal growth, and a chance to win incredible prizes through our exciting raffle ticket contests.
The Summer of Fun is not merely a series of events. It's a journey towards embodying the principles of persistence, respect for oneself and others, and integrity. It's about leveraging the energy of summer to enhance your training and motivate stronger individual and group attendance while building our martial arts family and their goals stronger.
How can you join the fun? Every class, private lesson, workshop, and event you attend will earn you raffle tickets. Even more exciting, bringing a friend to join our Introductory Program will earn you a generous amount of extra tickets, and when your friends sign up to continue with their training, it will rain tickets!
We have some truly exciting prizes, ranging from $10 to $200, waiting for you. We will draw the prize winners at our Summer of Fun Party in September.
From fantastic group activities, potlucks, games, experiences, and more, there's something for everyone. Remember, the more you train and engage, the more chances you have to win!

NICOLAS SAIGNAC SAVATE CAMP 2025
Join us for an extraordinary experience at the inaugural Nicolas Saignac Savate Camp on August 16th and 17th, 2025, at Martial Way Legacy in Austin, Texas. Professor Saignac brings a unique coaching style that enhances striking and self-defense skills through expert insights into distance management, rhythm, timing, and environmental awareness, both in and out of the ring.
If you've had the privilege of training with him at Erik Paulson’s CSW Camps, Ron Balicki’s MARS Camps, or various seminars, you already know the transformative impact of his teaching. Now, seize this opportunity to discover why countless practitioners flock to train with Professor Saignac. His ability to tailor Savate's art and attribute enhancement drills to any student, regardless of experience or age, sets him apart.
We extend a personal invitation to this intensive two-day, ten-hour camp. We will delve into multifaceted themes designed to invigorate and elevate your training journey. Participants will receive exclusive camp merchandise, including a commemorative t-shirt and certificate, alongside access to comprehensive training footage from every session.
The Savate Camp will unfold from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, August 16th and 17th, 2025, at Martial Way Legacy in Austin, Texas. While we strongly recommend in-person attendance for the whole immersion experience, virtual participation options are also available. Virtual students can secure a camp t-shirt by covering shipping costs, ensuring everyone feels part of this dynamic learning opportunity. Testing for Savate Rank advancement will occur at 4 p.m. on Saturday, offering a chance to validate your progress.
Early-bird registration is now open, offering three convenient payment plans:
Option A: $199 Pre-Registration ($249 after June 15th)
Option B: $49 + 7 Monthly Payments of $29
Option C: 7 Monthly Payments of $42

Parents' Night Out
Martial Way Legacy is hosting a Parents’ Night Out! Children will play coordination games, learn character development and self-defense, participate in a martial arts class, eat pizza, and enjoy a movie while parents can enjoy and relax at home. Will Train For Food Workshop
Join our community this holiday as we fight hunger while sharpening our skills at the Will Train For Food Workshop! Join us on Saturday, December 21st, from 10 AM to 12 PM, for an empowering training session open to all levels and experiences.
Training will range from Self-Defense Drills, Conditioning, and of course Martial Arts!
To participate, simply donate a minimum of $30 or bring canned goods with your receipt of at least $30.

Black Belt Closing Ceremony For Coaches Brandyn and Danny
Our Black Belts grow before, during, and after their tests. One of the steps we require is that they leave behind their actual Black Belt and Certificate at the school. We set this path for them in hope that they will remember their Black Belt is only the beginning. This helps them get through the “post-test bumps and bruises” as well as revitalize their love for what they do. During this time frame, all we require is that they continue to train and test. When they progress through ten more monthly tests we host a Closing Ceremony where we officially award their Belt and Certificate to take home.
We are excited to announce that Coaches Brandyn and Danny have progressed and are ready. Join us for this short; but powerful Closing Ceremony on Friday, December 20th at 630pm. We hope to see you here!

Back To Basics
We invite you to experience the incredible power of embracing the concept of "Back To Basics" in our Kickboxing MMA Program, which takes place every five weeks. This program emphasizes the fundamental techniques, ensuring that you master the proper form while engaging in active rest activities that utilize body weight, kettlebells, TRX, and other effective training tools.
By returning to the basics, you will lay a solid foundation and gain the necessary skills to progress into new themes, topics, and advanced levels.
