Welcome to the Taco Ruck where we are gonna Tacobout some miles and some…. well TACOS! We are set for Saturday, September 27th. We’ll meet down off of Nash Hernandez near the Festival Beach Boat Ramp similar to the Goonies Ruck. We’ll hit a round trip of nearly 6 miles while pit stopping for Tacos at three highly recommend Taquerias.
The primary Taco Ruck will start from the boat ramp at 10:15 AM and follow a course that will take us to Cuantos Tacos, Nixta Taqueria, and Veracruz All Natueral. This loop will be roughly just under 6 miles. We plan to finish this Ruck and arrive back at the boat ramp between 3 and 4PM; which should give us enough time to enjoy all three places. Usual guidelines for weight being less than 150# carries 10# and 150# or higher carries 20#.
As a bonus option if anyone is interested we can meet and shuttle cars so that we could start at Austin High and get an additional 3+ miles before we rendezvous with everyone for the official Taco Ruck. Let us know if you’re interested in meeting at Austin High around 9AM for some bonus, appetite building miles.
Normal buy in for your patch is a minimum of $7.80. We need to order patches by next Friday the 19th to make sure get them here in time. Let us know who is in!
