Join us for an intensive, hands-on four-hour workshop designed to enhance your self-protection skills, build confidence under pressure, and prepare you to defend yourself and those who matter most.
Whether you're new to self-defense or looking to sharpen your existing skills, this workshop offers a practical, no-nonsense approach to recognizing threats, responding to unexpected attacks, and maintaining control of your defensive tools.
What You'll Learn
URBAN AMBUSH RESPONSE
Dangerous encounters can happen unexpectedly, leaving little time to react. Learn practical strategies to recognize potential threats, respond to sudden attacks, and escape dangerous situations. Through realistic drills, we'll explore situational awareness, effective striking, defensive movements, and leverage-based techniques for escaping grabs and holds. Our focus is on helping you create distance, regain control, and get to safety.
WEAPON RETENTION
Having a defensive tool is only part of the equation. Knowing how to protect and retain it when someone tries to take it away is just as important. Through hands-on instruction and partner drills, we'll cover positioning, leverage, weapon control, and retention strategies to help you maintain control of your defensive tools in close-range encounters.
Who Should Attend?
You don't need previous martial arts or self-defense experience to participate! Our goal is to provide a welcoming, supportive training environment where participants of varying experience levels can learn, challenge themselves, and build confidence in responding to dangerous situations.
All genders and experience levels are welcome! Open to ages 13 and up; participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
